how to download ringtones on you phone via computer

There are so many ways to do it..
1) usb cable
2) memory card
3) bluetooth
3) internet (only for smart phones)
4) text message
 E.T.C...................

1) connect the phone and computer with usb cable. make sure phone is turn on and in usb mode. now after few seconds go to my computer and find a removable drive . open it and copy paste the file . done ;)

2) Purchase an SD card that fits your MP3 player. Most MP3 players will tell you how big of an SD card the player can handle--such as saying that the MP3 player's SD memory is expandable up to 2, 4 or 8GB. Determine how big of a card yours can handle and then purchase a card. Bear in mind that you need to make sure you purchase the right-sized card as well, as some players require a microSD card while others are fine with the regular-sized SD card.

Determine whether your computer has a multicard reader slot. Most modern desktop computers and laptops have a slot either on the front of the computer or the side of the laptop, and you can stick the SD card into the slot so that you can see the contents of the SD card on your computer. If yours has this ability, use steps 3, 4 and 5 to put music on your SD card. If not, skip ahead to step 6.

Put the SD card in your computer's SD card reader slot. Wait a few seconds and then click on "My Computer." Double-click on the removable disk drive icon that has SD next to it (usually drive E, I or G). You may need to click on a few different letters to accurately identify where your SD card is.

Right click the letter of your SD drive and select "Format," then click "FAT32." Some SD cards are automatically formatted, but some are not and will need this step.

Open your folder with your music in it, right click on what song(s) you want and select "Copy." Then go to the SD card's folder in the drive and select "Paste." Wait a few minutes and your music should transfer from the computer to the card. Make sure the progress is complete before unplugging the card, as failure to do so can result in corrupt data

Purchase an external USB multimedia card reader (in 2008, these can be purchased for under $50) and plug it into your computer's USB drive. Alternatively, it may be possible to simply put the card in whatever device you intend to put it in (cell phone, MP3 player) and then plug that device into the computer. Check with your manufacturer to see if this is an option and then follow steps 3, 4 and 5.

Insert your SD card into the slot on the USB multimedia card reader and a wait a few minutes. You should see your drive recognized in the computer--if not, make sure that the card reader is correctly installed and then try it again. Once it is recognized, use steps 3, 4 and 5 to put music on the card.

3) Do you have a bluetooth enabled phone and computer?

  • Follow these 10 easy steps to upload any file to your phone.

    1. Make sure the computer with the bluetooth technology is on
    2. Turn on bluetooth on mobile device
    3. Pair your computer with your cell phone by making your computer discoverable. Once it is, you must search for devices on your phone.
    4. Search for the device name of your computer and select it.
    5. Enter the correct password and then press continue.
    6. Once your devices are paired you can send and recieve files.
    7. To send a file to the phone, select the file then click copy.
    8. go to the bluetooth device and then click paste.
    9. wait while the transfer is in progress then the phone should make a noise or a warning.
    10. Check to see if the file was successfully transfered on your phone.

If your computer doesn't have Bluetooth built-in, you can get a Bluetooth adapter from the CellPhoneShop or from a local computer store. Just make sure to get one that supports USB 2.0, which is much faster than the older 1.1 protocol.

    4) if you have those cool phones like iphone, windows phone ect... just open the browser and go to this website and find ringtones section and just click on it ... you are done. :)

    5) this one is really simple just tell you friend who is good with computers and phones that you want this ringtone and ask him to send it via text message .  :P
